In recent years, Mark Andy has reinforced its commitment to deliver productive and profitable short run flexo printing solutions by offering the Performance Series – a narrow web flexo printing platform focused on cost savings and profitability for the converter. The company has now further expanded its press product offering to address even shorter runs, launching its newest product, the Mark Andy SRL 4.0. A digital label printer, the Mark Andy SRL 4.0 is specifically positioned for converters seeking an economical, responsive and productive option for short run, high quality labels.

The new Mark Andy SRL 4.0 is an easy-to-operate, roll-fed, full color (CMYK) toner-based printing machine that accommodates 8.5″ to 12.6″ web widths and can print on a variety of qualified materials with no pre-coated substrate requirements. It delivers 600 x 1200 dpi images with variable data and high definition output and comes equipped a with server and software system for a complete turnkey profit center. In addition, Mark Andy offers off-line diecutting and laminating equipment that provides greater flexibility in a short-run label production environment.

At a low-capital investment, the Mark Andy SRL 4.0 offers an economical option that will enable label printers and converters to meet the demands of smaller or fast-turnaround orders they may have previously turned away. This new offering is a complement to the recent initiatives by Mark Andy to supply a broad range of machinery that deliver profit and productivity for converters.

“We are excited to offer solutions at every run size in the label segment. The addition of the Mark Andy SRL 4.0 to our product line allows the converter to engage with more customers and seek more opportunities to generate revenue for their businesses,” says Jeff Feltz, director of new business development at Mark Andy, Inc.

Currently available to the North American market, the Mark Andy SRL 4.0 will be rolled out globally in 2013.
